Trojan Auto Care to hold annual fundraiser for Health Partners Free Clinic

tac-christmas-card-2013-inside_draft-3Starting on November 29, 2013, Troy Ohio’s Trojan Auto Care will begin its annual fundraising campaign for Health Partners Free Clinic. The clinic provides free medical care to residents of Miami County, Ohio, who are either uninsured or under-insured. As the colder months set in, the need for financial assistance increases dramatically. Free clinics nationwide will continue to play an important safety-net role by providing healthcare to the estimated 26-million residents who will remain uninsured and under-insured even after the full implementation of the Affordable Care Act. “This year’s campaign is going to be structured a little bit differently than we’ve been doing over the past several years,” says Trojan Auto Care’s owner, Vic Haddad. “The day after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve day, we will be selling gift certificates to individuals interested in saving on car services at Trojan Auto Care. For every $100 in gift certificates purchased, a person will receive a bonus $20 gift certificate and we’ll make a $10 donation to Health Partners Free Clinic.” The donation will be made in the purchaser’s name or in the name of someone they would like to recognize. Haddad continues, “Each year that we have organized a fundraiser for Health Partners Free Clinic, we have been blessed by the response and outpouring of generosity from our customers.” The entire team at Trojan Auto Care is excited to help promote this year’s fundraiser. They are hoping everyone’s efforts will bring the necessary funds and greater awareness to this worthwhile organization. Justin Coby of Health Partners Free Clinic says, “We are very thankful to Vic Haddad and the entire staff at Trojan Auto Care for taking the time and effort to organize this fundraiser for us. We encourage everyone in the community to support Trojan Auto Care and this fundraiser. We’re also looking forward to how this year’s program will help us better serve our patients.” More information on the fundraising program can be found on Trojan Auto Care’s website at # # #
